The First Holistic Bura Held in Šibenik: Effective Treatment Requires Comprehensive Approach and Quality Communication
In the beautiful setting of a hotel right by the shores of Šibenik, the first Holistic Bura was held in October. It was an education on holistic prevention and therapy of thyroid diseases in women, which attracted significant attention.
From the very first glance, it was evident that this education was different. Participants were welcomed by a hall filled with the aroma of fresh rosemary, olives, lemons, and other medicinal plants that adorned the hall.
Organized by Dr. Meri Bura, an expert in holistic treatment, Holistic Bura aims for the long-term:
- to answer all important questions related to the diagnosis and therapy of the thyroid gland, obesity and fatigue in women
- promote a holistic approach to prevention and therapy
- promote a healthy diet and a healthy lifestyle
- create a unique interaction between doctors and patients and specialist doctors and doctors of integral medicine, help them to connect and cooperate
“The cause of chronic diseases is never singular. Causes have a specific interaction among them, supporting each other, and thus there is a hierarchy of causes, symptoms, and therapeutic hierarchy. If a doctor treats the body well and the patient chooses the right lifestyle for their psycho-physical constitution, better emotional stability is achieved, affecting health. This is called holistic therapy and yields results within a few weeks to a few months. However, from my experience, the success of this therapy is highly dependent on doctor’s support at the beginning and support during moments of weakness,” emphasizes Dr. Bura.
Panels on emotions, body, nutrition, regeneration, anti-stress
Through several engaging panels, women’s health was discussed. Topics included emotions, body, diet, regeneration, antistress. All of these are segments that impact women’s health. The emphasis was consistently on the importance of a comprehensive approach. Numerous experts contributed their insights and opinions.
We learned how emotions influence body health, chronic illnesses, and the thyroid. What constitutes a healthy diet in practice, whether a leaky gut has clinical importance in hormonal imbalances. How to regenerate, where, and when. How to defend against stress. How to help oneself, where to start.
The issue of insufficient dedication was also discussed. Many experts are not able to dedicate enough time to patients. It happens that even after numerous tests and medical experts, we are sometimes left to ourselves, searching for diagnosis through Google. Too much online information creates additional stress. This information is not connected to us or our lives. They were not written for us.
A holistic doctor knows how to help with expert advice on diet, detoxification, taking supplements, advice on a constitution-based lifestyle, and advice on anti-stress. Body detoxification is often the first step for most people. A healthy body houses a healthy mind.
Signs of the body are signs of the soul
It is necessary to focus on oneself. Pay attention to the signs your body is sending. Body signs are signs of the soul. It’s necessary to ask oneself which negative emotion prevails in our daily lives.
When asked what it means to be healthy, Dr. Bura answers: “It means that all glands (pituitary, thyroid, pancreas, adrenal glands, ovaries, testicles) function perfectly, that the spine is agile, flexible, healthy, and that we feel calm and secure (absence of sadness, anger, fear).”
Participants who underwent a holistic treatment approach shared their experiences. They highlighted that holistic treatment opened up a new world of health for them. They no longer had to research and try things on their own. They realized the connection between physical and mental health, became aware of their self-perception, began to know themselves, and resolved many negative attitudes. Through new habits in their lifestyle, they achieved stable physical health.
Attendees of the Education had the opportunity to try some of the products recommended by Dr. Bura, enjoy the scents of essential oils, receive massages, and relax with antistress exercises.
The strong wind that blew that week symbolically gave its confirmation that it was time for the Holistic Bura, and the sunny October weekend magnified the entire event. Numerous participants of the education showed that the time has come for holistic therapy that provides the best long-term solutions.
