And then there’s Hashimoto’s. Hashimoto’s is the main issue. Along with it comes thyroid problems (most often hypothyroidism), weight gain, fatigue.
And so the cycle goes.
They say Hashimoto’s is an autoimmune disease, that the body doesn’t recognize its own cells and attacks its own tissue.
We could say that the body doesn’t recognize itself.
Don’t you realize how frightening that is?
That the body doesn’t recognize itself.
Have you ever thought that you no longer recognize yourself?
The saying goes: “As above, so below.” We all know that the soul is above, and the body is below. So, if you want to heal your thyroid, if you want to lose weight, if you want to get rid of fatigue and recognize yourself again, ask yourself:
How do I treat my soul?
Do I regularly nourish it? How?
Do I allow my soul to be disturbed and hungry for weeks, for years, without taking any action?
Do I even know what I should do?
If I did know, would I have the courage, self-confidence, and self-esteem to take action?
Don’t forget the order of healing:
1. Get to know yourself
2. Define what’s best for your soul
3. Make changes in your diet
4. Make changes in your lifestyle
Yes, maybe you want a change, but you just can’t take the first step.
Are you afraid of yourself?
Are you indecisive?
Perhaps you’re the archetypal Persephone – the eternal maiden – who wants to keep all options open – because if she chooses one option, everything else closes off.
But it’s not quite like that. Persephone (or the indecisive woman) needs to assess the advantages and disadvantages of her behavior, then she will know when to be decisive and when not to allow others to rush her in making decisions.
