The Mulier Method emerged from the need for holistic health, the health of both body and soul.
Holistic health is achieved in the following order:
- Address the root cause of the disease
- Restore balance to the spine, hormones and emotions, which are the first to be affected by any illness
- Implement individualized therapy
In this way, the physician gains a comprehensive overview of the person and simultaneously treats multiple levels of illness.
What does it mean for someone to be healthy?
It means that all glands (pituitary, thyroid, pancreas, adrenal glands, ovaries, testes) function perfectly, the spine is pain-free, flexible, strong, and the person feels calm and secure (absent of sadness, anger, fear). They live life according to their own will.
IF YOU HAVE A THYROID CONDITION, ASK YOURSELF: IS MY SPINE PAIN-FREE, FLEXIBLE, STRONG (do I have neck pain?) AND DO I FEEL CALM AND SECURE AND AM I LIVING MY LIFE ACCORDING TO MY (or others’) WILL?
When treating a person with thyroid issues, attention must be given to their hormones, emotions, and spine to achieve complete and natural healing.
HORMONES AND LIFE ENERGY
Hormones are the foundation of the body’s information system. They transmit information (commands) from the center (brain) to the periphery. It is not said by chance: Everything starts in the head. Thus, the state of the body is determined by the state of the mind.
Hormones are carriers of life energy (willpower, faith, motivation) that they transform into organ function.
When you have sufficient life energy (motivation for life, faith in life, willpower for life), the glands function flawlessly. However, if you have issues with motivation, faith, or willpower for life, gland function weakens, potentially leading to illness.
EMOTIONS ASSOCIATED WITH THE THYROID
The thyroid is one of the primary glands in the body. Its hormones influence all cells in the body.
Louise Hay states that the thyroid is connected to self-esteem, creativity, expression, guilt, and sorrow.
If the negative side of these emotions prevails in the long term, disruptions occur in the neck area. This can manifest as neck pain, thyroid dysfunction, sore throat, loss of voice, tickling in the throat, swollen and painful lymph nodes.
CERVICAL SPINE
Neck pain can indicate joint inflammation, a lack of synovial fluid, disc displacement, dehydration throughout the body, or an accumulation of excessive lactic acid…
But neck pain is most often connected to emotional stress, as everyone knows.
Symptoms can range from mild to severe, depending on how deep these emotions are and how much life energy they consume.
When the neck area is entirely healthy and balanced, one feels self-esteem, cheerfulness, determination, and boldness.
THESE ARE MENTAL SYMPTOMS OF A SICK THYROID – LOW SELF-ESTEEM; CONSTANT FEELING OF GUILT; SADNESS; INABILITY TO EXPRESS ONE’S THOUGHTS; PUTTING ONESELF IN THE BACKGROUND; SUPPRESSING CREATIVITY
Understanding individual pathophysiology leads us to the cause of the illness, and the cause will guide us to the best therapy. Therapy will differ for each person with a thyroid issue, as body chemistry, biochemical processes, pathophysiology, medical history, lifestyle, and family history vary for each individual.
For the same diagnosis, there are always different causes and entirely distinct therapies.
This is the only effective medicine – medicine with an individual approach.
For individual treatment, a comprehensive discussion with the patient is a prerequisite before diagnostic tests are conducted.
The longer the conversation, the fewer tests are required. The conversation also involves observation by the physician. The manner of speech, chosen words, energy, attitude, appearance of skin, hair, nails, eyes, posture, gait… provide crucial information.
MULIER DIAGNOSTICS FOR A SICK THYROID
Diagnosis is based on the following information:
SYMPTOMS: Symptoms vary for hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, and other thyroid pathologies, but all share a disruption in energy and warmth utilization, and their consequences. At a cellular level, there’s a disturbance in mitochondrial and cellular membrane functions.
SEARCH: adrenal gland hormones, thyroid hormones, pituitary hormones, OGTT (oral glucose tolerance test), thyroid antibodies.
DIAGNOSIS OF CAUSES: at the tissue and cellular level, we find the cause and focus on it.
Once we determine the focus or cause of the illness, we choose therapy hierarchically, meaning we first need to heal all hormone function disorders since they impact all tissues and cells. However, this doesn’t mean we treat a clear thyroid malfunction with thyroid hormones.
Often, we treat a sick thyroid by first addressing insulin function disorders and adrenal gland issues.
When we stabilize the pancreas (which secretes insulin) and the adrenal glands (which secrete cortisol – the stress hormone), we can then focus on the thyroid.
If we disrupt the therapeutic hierarchy (treating the consequence instead of the cause), the patient might not feel any better despite the treatment.
Terapija obuhvaća, ovisno o pojedincu:
Therapy includes, depending on the individual:
1.Preparatory phase of detoxification
Before each therapy, the body needs to be cleaned and prepared for new food, herbal preparations, vitamins, minerals, and medicines.
The detoxification method is adjusted based on age, health condition, and constitution.
Types of detoxification: lemon detox, Fx Mayr detox, Mulier detox.
*It’s best to start with the Fx Mayr method, with regular consumption of light vegetable soups.
2. Functional nutrition
Nutrition program (rhythm and content) is the basis of therapy. The patient has an individual diet program for a specific period. The diet treats leaky gut syndrome, increases energy, nourishes the body with essential vitamins, minerals, and proteins, treats hormonal imbalance, and treats inflammation in the body.
3. Immunological Status Therapy
In order for therapy to be successful, it is necessary to strengthen the body and raise the level of immunity.
In this phase, substances that reduce stress are introduced to stabilize hormones and probiotics are introduced to stabilize gut flora. Both cases impact the body’s information system.
*Adaptogenic auxiliary remedies (e.g., Rhodiola), which stabilize hormones, are introduced at this stage. After several weeks of detoxification and functional nutrition, probiotics are introduced for gut flora restoration.
4. Antiparasitic program and liver cleansing
If there are signs of chronic fatigue of unknown origin, body pains, serious serious illnesses, it is necessary to carry out an antiparasitic program and liver cleansing.
This is done through protocols or special hygienic-dietary plans.
*In thyroid diseases, the liver is often affected even when liver tests are within normal limits. The liver needs to be maximally relieved (detoxified), followed by cleansing with teas (dandelion root, dandelion leaf…), essential oils (helichrysum, clove…), and other natural preparations (wormwood, black walnut…).
5. Orthomolecular therapy
All vitamin and mineral deficiencies need to be compensated. That’s why we prescribe minerals and vitamins in high doses and those with the best chemical composition and pharmaceutical form.
*Vitamins or minerals often needed for thyroid diseases are selenium, zinc, copper, vitamin B complex, omega-3, vitamin D, magnesium. However, individual differences exist for each person.
6. Natural preparations and/or medicines – individually according to the diagnosis
Depending on the hormonal status, the therapy is individual for each patient.
7. Homeopathy and Bach drops
If there has been a significant deterioration of health, especially on an emotional level, we include homeopathic therapy in high potencies.
*Homeopathic therapy is overseen by a homeopathic physician. It’s individual and tied to the patient’s current state. Bach flower remedies are added for patients who struggle with their emotional states.
8. Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is introduced for inflammatory conditions.
For thyroid diseases, the most commonly used essential oils are: myrrh, myrtle, sage, helichrysum, geranium. The aromatherapist physician selects the application method.
9. Exercise and breathing exercises
Every disease is caused by a lack of oxygen in the cells. Proper exercise can increase strength, and breathing exercises can reduce pain in the body (if any) and calm the mind.
*Mulier exercises for the spine with breathing exercises are enough to relax you considerably to begin with.
10. Managing emotional stress
The patient is educated about their mistakes and solutions. For acute states of fear, anxiety, sadness, anger (if frequently recurring without clear objective reasons), the person is taught to quickly overcome uncomfortable feelings using the EFT method. Developing one’s goal (SMART) and vision can be very helpful. For those who like to control their life, NLP is an excellent technique. Constitutional homeopathic therapy can help with emotions – where a homeopathic remedy assists the person in returning to their own energy.
*If you want to resolve your problems on a long-term and high-quality basis, then addressing emotional stress is necessary. With a knowledgeable and adaptable therapist, you can achieve wonders.
Spiritual health is the most crucial health and is the source of all our strength.
A physician following the Mulier method is familiar with all the above-mentioned therapies and selects which ones to include in the INDIVIDUAL THERAPEUTIC PLAN for the patient.
The patient receives an individual therapeutic plan in writing, which includes:
- Diet plan
- Medication and Natural Preparations Schedule
- Emotional Stress Management Plan
The Mulier method heals the thyroid and addresses emotional stress arising from an improper lifestyle. This isn’t about lowering or raising lab values. This is about your happiness, your quality of life, returning to yourself, and your strength.
